McCoy CoupeThe coupe was the first model to be produced by Arthur Birchall and is the classic McCoy shape. The car was available as a 2+2 or 2 seat depending on interior configuration - either with a rear shelf/seats or without. Special features of the McCoy are front, rear and side crumple zones, built in roll cage and full fibreglass monocoque construction. Some cars were fitted with a 'wing' moulded into the boot lid (see photo above) and McCoy Cars offered a set of skirts to fit to the standard car (again see above). Early cars had a different bonnet shape with only a small bulge for the carburettor.
